Unit 17
This is our last unit for 2nd Grade. In this unit, the students will be learning the last syllable type which is the consonant -le syllable. This syllable type always comes at the end of a multisyllabic word such as bubble or bicycle.
This syllable always has 3 letters: a consonant, the letter l, and the letter e.

Knowing all six syllable types will help your child to read and spell. We encourage your child to use all the spelling rules and skills over the summer.
