Supply List for Second Grade

*This supply list is for students entering 2nd grade for the 2015-2016 school year.*

Dear Parents,

We welcome you and your child to grade 2.  Below is a list of items needed for work in the second grade.  These items should last all year.

      It is very important that your child is prepared everyday for his/her work at school.  So please try to send your child with all of these supplies on the first day of the new school year.  Please make sure your child’s first and last name is on all notebooks and folders before bringing them to school.

• 8 black and white marble notebooks ( no spiral notebooks)
• 5 packs of pencils
• 1 pack of looseleaf
• 6 packs of post its
• 1 highlighter
• 1 box of crayons
• 1 pencil/storage box (to store materials in)
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 box of markers
• 3 box of tissues
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 12 folders * 2 pockets plain folders no designs please*
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 sharpener
• 1 red colored pen 
• 1 box of gallon Ziploc bags
• 1 12-inch ruler
• 1 large hand sanitzer 
• 1 box chlorox wipes or 1 box of baby wipes
• 1 large old t-shirt and 1 box of tissues ( art class)
