January Read Aloud


During Read-Aloud students will learn about the lifestyle of Native Americans in New York before and after New York was "discovered" and colonized by the Dutch and the English.  Students will learn what life was like in that historical time period.   They will learn about the foods Native Americans ate, where they lived (homes), how they got around (transportation), what they did for fun, the types of jobs the men/women/children had, the clothing they wore, how they hunted/fished/gardened, how they made their tools, and much more.
